Can we know? One of God’s greatest promises is that we can know for sure Heaven is our home. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. I John 5:13 God loves you No matter who you are or what your background is, God wants a relationship with you. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 We are all sinners The Bible tells us that sin keeps us from God. Sin is any act contrary to God’s law, and we have all sinned. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23 Our sin has a price Our sin has a penalty, and that penalty is death. The payments for our sin is spiritual death, eternal separation from God, in a literal place called Hell. For the wages of sin is death; . . . Romans 6:23a Jesus provided for you Despite our sin, God loves us and wants a relationship with us. He loved you so much that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for you. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Romans 5:8-9 Eternal Life is a Gift Since Jesus died for our sin and rose again, He now offers you the gift of eternal life with Him in Heaven. . . . but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23b Pray to Accept His Gift God wants to have a relationship with you. The only thing that you have to do is accept the free gift of salvation that His Son paid for. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:9,10,13
